living with illness and to family members for 13 months after their
loved one dies.
UNC Hospice also offers grief support and counseling to the community.
Our support groups, workshops, and memorial services are open to all
persons. Grief counseling is available for individuals in the
community on a short-term basis. Donations are
appreciated. To make an appointment, please call
(919) 542-5545.
UNC Hospice offers grief education programs for schools and for
professional, civic and church groups. Programs are tailored to
match the interests or needs of the group. To arrange a program
for your group, please call (919) 542-5545.
UNC Hospice holds an annual Memorial Gathering to remember our patients
who have died. Our service of remembrance is open to all
hospice families and to all community members who have lost loved ones,
